Digital Art by wraithdt. This is his depiction of the Battle of Cresson which happened just before Saladin’s victory at Hattin in 1187 during his campaign against the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem. The knight in focus is the Grandmaster of the Templars, Gerard de Ridefort, who was one of only a few that survived the battle.
