Pretty sad to me that when looking back through deep space/time the best you can compare it to is a character from a popular novel. Do you get that the view is of something that may have happened before the earth was formed? That dust cloud might have produced a world that we will someday contact. To me it looks like the tissue that the toilet-flush shredded, but it didn’t go down the bowl. How’s that?

I’m sorry Griskins but that made me chuckle a bit, however you are right… Comparing something as immensly unimaginable as this to something as insignificant as a character in a movie isn’t really doing it justice.
So far these images have filled me a bit of sadness though, as we have absolutely no chance in our lifetimes to explore these vast wonders.
