We’ve reached a little milestone at Coolvibe: the 500th post! Thanks to all the artist and everyone who sent in art to be featured on Coolvibe, and thanks to all the readers out there! Overall, we’ve featured over 1,600 pieces of art, everything from concepts, to 3D renders, to anime and illustrations.

Pixel Art Pixel Art, as defined by Wikipedia is “a form of digital art, created through the use of raster graphics software, where images are edited on the pixel level”.

Pixel Art started back in 1972 with Richard Shoup’s SuperPaint application developed at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. The term “Pixel Art” was originally coined by Adele Goldberg and Robert Flegal of in 1982, also at Xerox PARC.
